Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to work at the end of the production lines within our supplement production facility. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality, safety, and efficacy before they are released for distribution, in compliance with British requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet all relevant quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements, including those set forth by the British Pharmacopoeia and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)
  • Conduct visual inspections, sensory evaluations, and other tests as needed to ensure product quality and consistency, in accordance with established procedures and protocols
  • Document all quality control activities and results accurately and thoroughly, following established British regulatory requirements and internal company procedures
  • Identify and communicate any quality issues or concerns to the production team and management, and work collaboratively to address and resolve them, in compliance with British requirements
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize production processes, increase efficiency, and enhance quality control practices, in accordance with British regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, and adhere to all relevant safety and regulatory standards, including those set forth by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)

Qualifications:

  • A-levels or equivalent education required; higher education in a relevant field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and protocols, in accordance with British requirements
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals, in compliance with British requirements
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant quality standards and regulations preferred, including those set forth by the MHRA and the British Pharmacopoeia
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
